You Won't Believe What God Has Been Up To!

You won’t believe what God has been up to...

The time has finally come! We've got some BIG news we are finally ready to share!

Well guys, we are heading to Gainesville, Florida!

Ok! I know what you are thinking. How in the world is Andrew Kappenman, a die hard Vols fan, moving to the swamp!? Well, over the past year, there have been many prayers, conversations, and zoom calls, and it all comes down to this: CHURCH PLANTING

In June 2021, our family will move to Gainesville as church planting residents with Citylight Church, the Salt Network, and the North American Mission Board. Our time there will be spent serving along side staff at Salt Church, with an anticipated plan to plant Citylight Orlando with our dear friends, Patrick and Becca Chandler.

As we continue to move forward, our desire is to be faithful and full of praise, trusting the Lord to work out His plans for His purpose.

This unexpected transition has stretched our faith as God continues to lead us down this new and exciting path.  Our prayer is that the Lord would do abundantly more than we could ever ask or think according to the power at work within us for His glory in the church and in Christ throughout all generations (Eph 3:20-21) .

We will miss DSU and our entire ministry family in Cleveland greatly. The relationships we've built here will last a lifetime. Josh, Amber, Andrew, and Grace Warren have become family and we've gone through so much together. Although our time at Delta State University has been some of our most enjoyable years of ministry, we are excited and look forward to what God has in store for our family in the future.

Now that we've shared the exciting news with you guys, we want to ask you to continue to pray for the BSU ministry at Delta State, and for our family as we follow God’s call to multiply disciples and churches in Florida.
